How to measure your neck for chokers

Chokers at L.O.N.Y are designed to closely hug the neck.
To find your perfect fit, just follow these steps:

  1. Use a soft measuring tape (or a string + a ruler).

  2. Wrap it around the middle of your neck, where the choker is meant to sit.

  3. Make sure it’s snug but not too tight.

  4. Choose your size based on this measurement. I highly recommend picking the size as close as possible to your exact measurement.
But don’t worry — every necklace comes with an extender chain for extra flexibility!

Which metals I use and why ?

At L.O.N.Y, every piece is handwoven using a metal chosen specifically for its visual impact and what it allows me to create. Here's the trio I work with:

◉ Bright Aluminum

Lightweight, easy to wear, and sturdier than you'd think. Its surface has a soft, slightly matte finish — despite the name bright, it sits somewhere between stainless steel and anodized aluminum in terms of shine.
It ages gently: it might lose a bit of its luster over time, especially if rubbed often. Still, it’s a great choice for an airy, low-maintenance piece at a lower price — while still delivering standout design.

◉ Anodized Aluminum (colored or not)

This one’s my current fave. Super luminous, almost ethereal. The anodized layer makes the metal resistant to corrosion, fading, and everyday knocks.
I did my own stress tests: soaked in soapy water, dried out — no change. If you treat it with care, these pieces can last for years without losing their color or shine.

◉ Stainless Steel

Tough as nails and built to last. I use it for clasps — because when it comes to closures, I don’t compromise.
But let’s be real: it’s not my go-to for the main body of my pieces. Too heavy, too stiff, and honestly a bit too dark for my current design vision. My work is super intricate, and stainless steel just doesn’t play nice.
