PURRING DRAGON 𒌐 Metallic Pendant Necklace

Here, the dragon doesn’t breathe fire : he protects, he purrs, coils gently around the neck like an ambivalent and sensual presence. He evokes a quiet inner strength and a contained tension, like a mythical creature that belongs to you.

The structure of this piece is based on a modified Byzantine weave, but diverges from it to create a dense, fluid texture with a sinuous rhythm.

The segments and metallic pendants subtly twist and wrap, forming an organic, spiraling silhouette, echoing a sleeping dragon, curled up on itself. My mother compared this necklace to the shape of the panlong dragon, the coiled dragon of Chinese mythology. I loved that reading, and it stayed.

Both delicate armor and living creature, this necklace is meant to be genderless, mysterious, almost ritualistic, somewhere between protective adornment, lightweight armor, and wearable enigma.
