The name Émerence came to me in the most unexpected way. I heard it while working at a bookstore. It struck me instantly: rare, powerful, laced with forgotten history. An old name, once tied to a long-erased Christian martyr.

As a queer designer, I reclaimed it. I transformed a legacy of suffering into a radiant force. Émerence becomes an unapologetic armor — for bodies in flux, for minds outside the mold, for luminous souls who refuse to dim.

This is a piece for the bold, the becoming, the blazing.
